On the second-to-last episode of her show, Katie Phang, the MSNBC network anchor, said goodbye to Representative Jasmine Crockett (R-TX) with tears in her eyes in an emotional piece on the far left. In a histrionic monologue, Phang hailed Crockett for her dedication to “democracy” and paradoxically commended her for her integrity.
For background, the biased network has seen declining ratings and has had to fire many of its hosts since President Donald Trump’s stunning victory in 2024. After being dismissed earlier this year, Joy Reid, the well-known MSNBC personality, had a huge outburst that went viral and was ridiculed by conservatives for being an awakened ideologue.
At any rate, on April 19, 2025, Katie Phang started her speech by complimenting the far-left congresswoman. “I’m going to play a really short clip for you right now because I want to exercise a point of personal privilege,” she remarked. After that, a video of Crockett’s initial appearance on her show was shown by the new, far-left anchor.
The video continued with Phang introducing the Democrat from Texas. “Texas State Representative Jasmine Crockett is my next guest joining me right now,” she stated. I’m so glad to see you here, Representative. You had a hectic day yesterday, I know.
The host, who resumed her interview in 2025, praised Crockett for her extremism. “Well, thank you for your advocacy and for being here, Texas State Representative Jasmine Crockett,” she added. Thank you. All right. Three years ago, you and I were there. You appeared on the Katie Fang show for the first time.
She bemoaned the cancellation of her program, saying she was still not done. “This is the second-to-last episode of the show,” Pheng stated. Congresswoman, I wanted to express my gratitude for your unwavering support of democracy as well as for always rising early to provide it.
The MSNBC anchor lavished Crockett with praise as the segment came to a close. She stated, “I’m always thankful for you, and it’s undoubtedly something that you have made your brand, and it’s the integrity that you’re bringing.” You will be missed. member of Congress. You haven’t seen the last of me, Jasmine Crockett. We appreciate you being here and starting us off today. You are always appreciated.
Joy Reid, another MSNBC reporter, was let go earlier this year, as we previously reported. Joy Reid’s outburst against the President during her parting speech was an uncontrollable reaction. “I’m not sorry for what I was doing, and my show had value,” she stated. I can assure you that [it] was valuable and significant. Karen has also been contacting me, and I can tell that she’s there. Therefore, I will simply say, thank you, in the end. I took a strong stance on a lot of topics, including Black Lives Matter, the concerns of a newborn, and the deaths of a parent.
Reid concluded her tirade by saying, “I’m not sorry is where I come down on it. Since those things belong to God, I don’t regret standing up for them. I’m not sorry; I’m just proud of my show. You see, I’m a church girl too, and those are the things that I was taught were of God. Your Program.
