Jennifer Aniston’s new children’s book, Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life is out now and the actress and producer took to Instagram to show some of her very adorable friends listening raptly as The Morning Show star read the children’s book to them.
Just look at this cute audience!
Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life is part of a four book series and Aniston hopes it will inspire people to help shelter dogs and animal shelters.
People Magazine reports, “With every dollar donated, The Clydeo Fund will help organizations rescue, rehabilitate, and find forever homes for animals. “We can help these animals, and we can get awareness out, and help the shelters that are in desperate need of upkeep because they’re falling apart,” explains the former Friends star. “They can’t keep up. And all you see is that we’re euthanizing innocent, beautiful, perfectly, perfectly fine two-year-old dogs, or a puppy, or a litter. I can’t. It’s too much. It’s too many.”
Aniston previously shared this sweet clip of her unboxing her books with her dog Clyde.
Clydeo is inspired by Aniston’s rescue dog named Clyde, who is a Schnauzer Clyde looks pretty similar to his animated counterpart, especially with the color of his fur and his cute little ears. You can follow all Clydeo’s adventures on his own Instagram page here.
Is It Beneficial to Read to Dogs?
Reading to dogs is both beneficial to dogs and the humans that love them!
Reading to a dog in a calm, soothing voice relaxes them and makes them feel more connected to their humans. It can help dogs with kennel stress by socializing them, because spending time with a fearful dog and reading to them can help them be more comfortable around humans.
Even though dogs may not understand every word you read to them, the sound of a human voice provides mental stimulation for them.
For humans reading to a dog can help relax them and promote bonding. Kids that read to dogs improve their reading skills, thus improving a kid’s self confidence. Dogs are nonjudgemental so they won’t make a kid feel bad if they can’t pronounce a word.
Spending time with your beloved dog makes you feel more relaxed, lowers blood pressure and cortisol levels.
You can check in your own town to see if your shelter offers programs where you can read to dogs, and your local library may offer similar programs.

Uhm, Wow, Jennifer Aniston’s Net Worth Has Been Sky-High Since Starring in ‘Friends’
If you’re a person who enjoys movies and television, then there’s absolutely no way you’re clueless about Jennifer Aniston’s net worth—which is, obviously, impressive AF. And it’s unsurprising, considering Jen’s been a household name for the past two and a half decades, thanks to Friends. Sure, the show’s final episode may have aired 19 years ago (!!), but its cultural impact has remained…and Jen has been busy making bank and stacking her chips ever since.
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, we’re sure you totally wanna know just how much she rakes in (otherwise, why would ya be here???), so allow us to break down legit every money move she’s made that has contributed to her impressive net worth. Go forth and prepare to question every single one of your own financial decisions!
For Starters, Friends Made Jennifer a Sh*t Ton of Money
Be honest—the reason you even clicked on this article is because you wanted to know how much Jen made from Friends, right? It’s okay, we can’t fault you there. Because guess what? Jen made alllll of the moneybags during her 10-year run on the show. Let’s discuss.
During the first season of the sitcom, the six main Friends cast members each made $22,500 per episode. Since there were 24 episodes in the first season, simple multiplication reveals that Jen’s salary for Friends season 1 was $540,000—not at all bad in the ’90s! In the second season, Jen’s salary was reportedly boosted to $40,000 when her relationship with Ross (David Schwimmer) became a major plotline, which earned her $960,000. And then by season 3, Jen finally earned her first million ($1.875 mil, to be exact) for a season’s worth of episodes.
Ofc, by the final two seasons of the show, Jen was earning $1 million PER EPISODE, so in total, she and the rest of the Friends cast made about $90 million each before bonuses and royalties. Not! Too! Shabby!!
Friends Ended in 2004, but Jen Still Makes $$$ From It
Ever heard of a little thing called royalties? Nope, it has nothing to do with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (sorry). What this means is that money is paid back to actors for their performances whenever a network airs reruns of their show—and as you’re probs aware, Friends reruns happen a LOT.
In 2000, the Friends cast signed a contract that allowed them all to get a cut of any royalties from reruns, which is kinda rare, tbh. And since Friends is still on television 19 years later, Jen gets a 2 percent share of the total $1 billion the show earns in streaming and royalties revenue Every. Damn. Year. Oh, how much does that work out to? Well, about $20 million filthy-stinking-rich dollars annually, thanks for asking.
But that’s not all! In 2021, the Friends reunion special aired on HBO Max, and according to Variety, the cast members all made at least $2.5 million for their participation. Friends truly is the gift that keeps on giving (and we’re preeetty sure Jen would agree).
Did You Forget that Jen’s Been in So. Many. Movies???
To date, Jen has been in a whopping 70 movies, which include but are not limited to Bruce Almighty, Marley & Me, The Break-Up, Just Go With It, Horrible Bosses, and We’re the Millers…all of which raked in more than $200 million in box office sales. And that’s not even counting the films she’s directed or produced. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
In total, Jennifer reportedly made $75 million from film paychecks between 1997 and 2011, often requesting $8 million per movie (apparently, though, she made $10 million alone from 2011’s Just Go With It). Recently, we saw the actor reunite with Adam Sandler for Murder Mystery 2, and considering that the original Murder Mystery is one of Netflix’s most viewed titles of all time, chances are she was compensated very, very well for the sequel.
And She’s Not Done With TV Either
Although Jen has mostly stuck to the big screen post-Friends, she made her return to television in 2019 for The Morning Show on Apple TV+ (which, FYI, was renewed for a third season and premiers tomorrow!). In addition to earning Jen a SAG Award for her performance, she and her costar Reese Witherspoon each make a casual $2 million per episode—not including producing fees and ownership points—which means she and Reese have already earned at least $40 mil each from the series. Well done, ladies.
Let’s Not Forget About Her Endorsements, People
Because Jennifer Aniston is, well…Jennifer Aniston, her face is a coveted tool in the marketing world. Jennifer’s first major deal was with Microsoft, and she and Matthew Perry starred in a 60-minute instructional vid for the Windows 95 operating system.
In the ’90s, Jen also appeared in the (in)famous “Got Milk?” picture ads and Diet Coke commercials, the latter of which she actually starred in with the entire Friends cast.
Later down the line, Jennifer branched out to do L’Oréal hair color commercials, an “eight-figure endorsement deal” with Aveeno, and a $5 million partnership with Emirates Airlines. Basically, Jen’s been booked and busy 5ever.
Jen Dabbles in the Beauty Industry, Too
Sorry to burst your bubble, but celebrity beauty did not start with the creation of Fenty Beauty. Jen has released six fragrances through Elizabeth Arden since 2010 and became a partial owner of haircare brand Living Proof in 2012, so don’t sleep on her!
Unilever bought out Jennifer’s shares of Living Proof in 2016 (when the company was reportedly worth somewhere between $60 million to $75 million), and even though the amount she earned wasn’t disclosed, something tells us Jen wouldn’t leave a company for mere chump change. Nowadays, she serves as the “chief creative officer” of wellness supplement brand Vital Proteins, so…more $$$ in her pocket.
In September 2021, Jen even announced the launch of her own cruelty-free haircare brand, LolaVie, with an IG post. The products def aren’t as affordable as the Aveeno products you’re used to her promoting, but they’re well worth your coin, promise.
So, What’s Her Total Net Worth?
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Jennifer Aniston’s net worth in 2023 is $320 million, and since she rakes in about $20+ million per year from acting and endorsement deals, that number is only going to continue to grow. Keep up the good work, Jen.
Jennifer Aniston ‘Elegantly’ Snapped Back at John Mayer for His Big Mouth After Breaking Up: ‘It’s not just some girl he’s dating’
Jennifer Aniston’s claim to fame may have been her role as Rachel Green in FRIENDS. But the actress has also been in the spotlight for her many high-profile relationships. While she only walked down the aisle twice, with Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux, the 55-year-old has had her fair share of love affairs. Among those relationships was her romance with musician John Mayer. It was a coupling that drew significant media attention during its brief yet intense tenure in 2008 and 2009. However, it too came to an end.
Though the two seemed to enjoy their time together, their relationship ended about a year later. Shortly after their split, Mayer made subsequent comments that made waves in the press. In turn, it ended up prompting Aniston to respond to them in her characteristic, elegant fashion.
How Jennifer Aniston handled her public breakup with John Mayer
Over the years, Jennifer Aniston has learned that keeping her relationships out of the tabloids might be for the best. However, when she and John Mayer split back in 2009, the musician chose to make things rather public. In an interview with Playboy via UK’s Marie Claire, the Your Body is A Wonderland singer claimed that their 8-year age gap was too much for him to handle. He also added that her lack of technological savvy had been an issue. While the 55-year-old star could have shot back, she took the high road and told Vogue that he was actually a nice guy.
He (Mayer) had to put that out there that he broke up with me. And especially because it’s me. It’s not just some girl he’s dating. I get it. We’re human. There was no malicious intent.
The actress continued, “I deeply, deeply care about him; we talk, we adore one another. And that’s where it is.” Although Aniston seemed to be making excuses for the singer’s controversial behavior, it looks like the two have chosen to leave the past behind them.
In fact, even after Mayer had publically aired their dirty laundry, so to speak, the Murder Mystery star still stayed in touch with him.
Are John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston friends?
Jennifer Aniston never ends a relationship on bad terms. From her ex-husbands, Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux, to even her brief love affair with John Mayer, the FRIENDS star has always chosen to take the high road. In fact, over a decade since her split with the musician, the actress has still managed to keep up a good relationship with him. In a 2020 interview with US Weekly, a source shed light on their friendship.
Jen and John have a nice friendship. John has a deep admiration and respect for Jen. […] Whenever they talk or are out together it’s always friendly and nice.
The insider even emphasized, “There is definitely no weirdness between them.” The revelation came as no surprise. After all, Aniston had managed to stay friends with Theroux and even the once-insensitive Pitt. Although her friendship with the 53-year-old might have been easier to maintain, she still put the drama with Angelina Jolie aside to make up with the Bullet Train star.
Aniston’s love life might just prove that sometimes things don’t work out. However, there is no reason to hinder the friendship with someone you once loved. Although, that might not apply to everyone.

Jennifer Aniston Got ‘Endless Texts’ After Photos of Her Getting Hit with Oil on The Morning Show Set Went Viral
No, Jennifer Aniston did not get oil thrown at her in real life. But viral photos of her filming such a moment for The Morning Show‘s upcoming season did spark a wave of worrisome responses from those closest to her.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Oct. 2, Aniston set the record straight as she dispelled tabloid stories and rumors about herself online, including giving further context about the viral photos of herself covered in oil that made headlines.
“There was something that happened in the context of the show that was presented as if it happened in real life by the tabloids,” host Jimmy Kimmel began, holding up the picture of Aniston. “You got splashed by — well your character I should say — got splashed with oil … It seemed like somebody did this to you.”
The Friends alum, 55, explained that she was later overwhelmed with messages from concerned loved ones who tried checking in.

“I was getting endless texts [asking], ‘Are you okay? What happened to you? This is awful,’” she recalled, before referring to tabloid reports, “But yeah, they just did not mention that it was in the [show].”
In July, Aniston shocked fans after photos surfaced from The Morning Show‘s season 4 set that showed her character, Alex Levy, being doused in oil by an angry protester.
But behind the scenes, Aniston was all smiles after shooting the moment, according to a new picture the actress shared on Instagram on Sunday, Aug. 4.

In the snap, Aniston was covered in black liquid as she sat in a director’s chair. She lifted her leg to seemingly show off her large platform heels.
“I NY,” Aniston the Friends alum wrote in the caption of her post, which also included a handful of other photos she snapped recently including a pic of her with Whoopi Goldberg and Cole Escola backstage at the Broadway hit, Oh, Mary!
This wasn’t the only headline she set the record straight on during her appearance on the late-night talk show.

Aniston was also presented with a magazine cover that had the headline “The Truth About Jen & Barack.” Another line on the cover claimed his wife Michelle Obama is “Betrayed as Aniston Steals Her Husband’s Attention,” and that Aniston and former President Barack Obama are “obsessed with each other.”
Laughing, she replied, “Of all the calls you get from your publicist, where you’re just like, ‘Oh, no, what’s it gonna be?’ or the email saying, you know, some cheesy tabloid is gonna make up a story, and then it’s that.”
“I was not mad at it,” the actress joked before clarifying that the romantic link between her and Barack, 63, is “absolutely untrue.”
“I have met him once. I know Michelle more than him,” she quipped. Kimmel then jokingly asked, “Is there a truth about you and Michelle that we should know?” Aniston then said with a smile, “That is not true.”

Jennifer Aniston Sets Record Straight on Having Ziploc of Therapist’s Ashes
Jennifer Aniston has confirmed that she has a Ziploc bag containing her late therapist’s ashes—although she’s coy on publicly sharing further details.
The Friends alum made an appearance on Wednesday’s installment of Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote her new picture book, Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life.
Host Jimmy Kimmel took the opportunity to playfully grill the actress about a range of tabloid headlines that have been written about her in the past, including a magazine cover bearing the headline, “The Truth About Jen And Barack.”
The article in question, claimed that Aniston, 55, had developed a close friendship with former President Barack Obama. Aniston told Kimmel that she had only met Obama “once” as the pair shared a laugh about the headline.
Kimmel then proceeded to ask Aniston to confirm or deny other rumors, including one that she has “a Ziploc bag filled with your dead therapist’s ashes.”
Aniston gasped in response, saying after a lengthy pause: “Can I plead the [Fifth]?”
“That’s one’s a little bit true, right?” Kimmel asked, prompting his guest to confirm: “It’s a little true.”
“Oh, I’m gonna sound like I really need a therapist, well, after this,” Aniston added, raising laughs from the studio audience. The star opted to forgo sharing more details.
Elsewhere, Aniston shot down claims that she “installed a $4,000 anti-aging water filter” in her home for her dogs and has a “black belt in jujitsu.” However, she admitted to having had a salmon sperm facial, carrying a jar of olives when she travels abroad, and once being approached for a selfie while nude at a sauna.
When questioned about claims that her family would make her “belly dance” every Christmas Eve, Aniston responded: “Not just Christmas Eve… Any kind of a family dinner… It’s like, when you say to your child, ‘Play piano for everyone,’ or ‘Let’s sing for everyone.’”

“I get such anxiety when my friends do that to their children, because I have inner trauma from having to perform and belly dance for my Greek aunts and uncles and grandmothers,” Aniston added. “I get it.”
Sharing further insight into her childhood in New York City, Aniston also told Kimmel about her futile attempt to meet Duran Duran vocalist Simon Le Bon after learning that his band would be performing on Saturday Night Live.
“I was in love with Duran Duran,” she told Kimmel. “I mean, like I was an official ‘Durany,’ as they called them, and Simon Le Bon was just everything.
“I even camped outside one night of their hotel… They were appearing at a video store to sign copies of the latest album, or whatever. So my girlfriend and I show up at 5 in the morning with a rose, and then we wait, and this line’s already around the block. [We waited] there all day till about 4 o’clock. And then they shut the gates because it got really rowdy. And so we didn’t get to go in.
“So [we took] our droopy roses, and we went back to our house. And then they were appearing on SNL that night. And, you know, they always say, ‘Guests of Saturday Night Live are staying at this hotel,’ which they’re not. We headed over there to meet them on their way home from doing their appearance, and they never showed up.”
However, Aniston finally got to meet Le Bon several years later. “Simon, I actually got to interview him for Interview magazine,” Aniston said, before joking, “I got to tell him how he destroyed my childhood.”

In the teaser, Melody says, ‘Obviously this isn’t my voice. I can’t talk. And I can sound like whoever I want — so I picked Jennifer Aniston.’
The film is based on Sharon M. Draper’s 2010 novel of the same name and stars newcomer Phoebe-Rae Taylor as Melody.
A synopsis for the film states that Melody ‘has a quick wit and a sharp mind, but because she is nonverbal and uses a wheelchair she is not given the same opportunities as her classmates.’

The 48-year-old actress and her 57-year-old co-star are both excited to be returning for a third season of the hit HBO show – which originally ran from 2017 to 2019 – but the novel’s author Liane Moriarty has been working on some new material.

‘If you talk about doing it, it’s the dopamine hit of doing it. You feel like you’ve done it. It’s a scientific study.’

Jennifer Aniston’s Bodysuit Grabs America By The Dumbbells, AP’s Vulgar Al Roker Post & Alert Jimmy Carter!
Holy cow.
Boys and girls, we have MADE it here in the great, big, beautiful, free, law & order state of Florida. We’ve made it. It’s here.
Fall is here.
The windows are cranked wide ass open today. All day. The smell of fire is permeating throughout my neighborhood (although that may be from folks burning hurricane debris). My AC is turned off. Just … off.
Your watch has ended, sweet prince. Take a bow. Take a rest. You’ve worked nonstop for eight months now. Today, it’s time to use some of your PTO, because it is 68 degrees. Sixty-eight.
Thought we’d get a solid 69 joke out of today, but Mother Nature put her horny feelings aside and went EVEN LOWER.
What a day. There is nothing like the feeling of waking up in Florida to that first cool day of the year. Nothing in the world. Hits like crack. Everyone is immediately in a better mood. It’s just an instant shot to the system. One week ago today, we were all getting obliterated by Milton. Now?
Now, we get our revenge. It’s our time. Let’s have a day.
On that note, welcome to a Hump Day Nightcaps – the one where we welcome Rachel Nichols to class, along with Michael Jordan, because those two rocked the internet with some insane hand-placement earlier this week. You’ll see.
What else? I’ve got Nightcaps OG Jennifer Aniston checking in with an absolute heater on a chilly fall Wednesday, Jimmy Carter went to the ballot box with fire in his belly yesterday to vote for Kamala, and the AP pumped out the most insane tweet about Al Roker that I’ve ever seen.
I could give you 1,000 guesses, and you still wouldn’t even get close to what this bad boy said. Strap in.
OK, grab you one of them Sears Christmas catalogs on the way to the toilet – it is National Department Store Day, after all – and settle in for a Hump Day ‘Cap!
‘It’s a scorcher,’ and so is Trump’s take on the garbage new kickoff
Y’all know what a department store is? Serious question. I assume this class is pretty diverse in age, so anyone here over 30 knows what I’m talking about.
But for you Gen-Zers who actually showed up today, I assume you have no idea. None. Sears, Macy’s, JCPenney, Dillard’s – all absolute staples in a shopping mall back in 1998. They’d be at the four separate corners of the mall, and it was just a choose-your-own-adventure book every time you pulled into the parking lot.
Which entrance do we wanna choose? Do we feel like going through the Macy’s perfume section to get to the Auntie Anne’s in the food court because it’s a quicker route, or do we just suck it up and park way in the back of the front entrance because it’s not worth smelling like that all day?
And we can all agree that Dillard’s was the black sheep of the department store family, right? Feel like that’s where the middle-class folks went. I was one of them, so I’d know. Great shirts at a great discount!
Anyway, I say all of that because it gives me the chance to revisit my all-time favorite childhood commercial. If you know, you know:
God, we used to have it so good. Everything was perfect back in 1999. Absolutely perfect. And now?
Now, my childhood Sears is a Spirit Halloween. True story. When I was home last week for the hurricane, I drove by the mall – which is basically a homeless hangout at this point – and that stupid Spirit Halloween sign was plastered over the old Sears location. Disgusting.
Kamala’s America.
Not Trump’s!
Jimbo!!!
I mean, it’s the most accurate, relatable thing Trump has ever said. The new kickoff SUCKS. It looks AWFUL. I hated it the second I saw it in the HOF game two months ago, and it’s done nothing to win me over.
Have there been any kick returns this year for tuddies? Maybe one? I mean, it’s awful. It’s clunky and an absolute momentum killer for the fans. Nobody in the stands gets pumped when they look down on the field and see that crap. We’re better off just giving each team the ball at the 25 to start each drive. I’m serious. I’d rather do that.
PS: the Trump comment about bad neighborhoods that’s getting predictable traction from the woke mob today? I promise you every single football player in the country is laughing at it today, because it’s 100% true.
I played high school football. I drove my teammates home after practice. We laughed about it. It’s locker room stuff that losers at the WaPo wouldn’t understand. It’s not the deep, fellas. I promise.
OK, enough of that. Let’s check in with Jimmy Carter to get his thoughts:
Jen gets ripped, Al gets lit & Rachel Nichols checks in after a big night
Completely normal behavior from the Carter family. Just keeping this poor man alive YEARS beyond his death due date just so they could push some BS political narrative.
There is zero, and I mean zero percent chance Jimmy Carter knows who Kamala Harris is. None. And if he does, he forgets three seconds later.
LOOK AT THAT MAN! Do you really think he’s doing deep dives into the world of politics right now? He’s so far gone it ain’t even funny.
PS: we all know Kamala would’ve gotten Jimmy’s vote whether he was alive or dead. That’s how the Dems operate. I’ve seen this movie before.
OK, rapid-fire time on this chilly Autumn day so I can get my ass into a flannel shirt and over to a pumpkin patch. First up? Hellllllllllllo Jennifer Aniston!
That’s our girl!!! For all the internet losers who constantly bitch at me for posting clickbait Jennifer Aniston blogs “because she doesn’t look anything like that anymore,” here ya go. Happy now?
That’s how you stay relevant at 55, boys and girls. Take notes and get your asses to the gym!
Next? Imagine my surprise when I clicked on the Twitter machine at 5:45 this morning and this was the first thing that popped up:
Yeah, I would’ve been, too, had I not already known the definition. For those who don’t know, go ahead and click here for the Urban Dictionary write-up! Gooooooooooooood luck!
PS: what a sentence – One day after they’d had their fun, she calmly pulled a backup poon out of the refrigerator.
Incredible.
OK, save us, Rachel!
Take us home, Kristin Cavallari
Hey now, MJ! What’s going on there, big guy? Did you think you two could get away with those wrapped up little fingers and the internet NOT notice?
Think again!
Why is MJ holding her hand?
Why are you holding MJs fingers like that?
She got that tight grip.
Hey how y’all looking hella close.
Mike what yo doing?
I could go on and on – the comment section is a tin-foil-hat wasteland. I’m all in on whatever’s going on here, by the way. Rachel Nichols is a legend of the game and if her and MJ are a thing, so be it. Power Couple City, baby!
OK, that’s all for today. I’ve gotta go dig up my beanies from the closet.
Take us home, Kristin!
Kathryn Hahn and Jennifer Aniston Starred in this Underrated Rom-Com From a Hollywood Legend
No matter what, the show must go on. In the film, She’s Funny That Way, the drama going on behind the scenes is just as good as what’s happening on the stage, in a hilarious, meta-romantic comedy set in the world of Broadway. Kathryn Hahn, Jennifer Aniston, and Owen Wilson all turn in outrageous, comedic performances from directing legend, Peter Bogdanovich, and hold nothing back.
She’s Funny That Way stars Imogen Poots in one of her first big roles, and she holds her own against Hollywood heavyweights with a flawless, New York accent and a fiery spunk. Bogdanovich was one of the most beloved and impactful American directors during the 70s, directing classics like The Last Picture Show and Paper Moon, in addition to the wild screwball comedy, What’s Up, Doc? In She’s Funny That Way, Bogdanovich co-wrote the script with Louise Stratten, and the pair embraced the slapstick of What’s Up, Doc? in a modern setting, as every character cheats, lies, and inevitably falls in love.
What Is ‘She’s Funny That Way’ About?
Imogen Poots stars as the ambitious New York City call-girl, Izzy, a cinephile who dreams of becoming a star. That dream starts to become a reality when her client one night happens to be the big shot Broadway director, Arnold Albertson (Owen Wilson), an unfaithful husband and womanizer who has spent his entire marriage seeking the comfort of call girls behind his wife’s back. Kathryn Hahn plays Arnold’s wife, Delta Simmons, a fellow Broadway star and Arnold’s muse, who is featured in his new play. When Izzy’s agent gets her an audition for the starring role in Arnold’s play the following day, a flabbergasted Arnold watches in horror as she nails the audition in a scene acting opposite Delta, and scores the part.
Will Forte plays the enamored playwright, Joshua, who falls for Izzy during her audition. The only problem is that he’s dating the cruel therapist, Jane (Jennifer Aniston), who happens to be Izzy’s therapist, which then causes a messy trail of infidelities and scams as the play gets underway. A hilariously sleazy Rhys Ifans plays Seth Gilbert, the leading man in the play, who has a secret crush on Delta and knows of Arnold’s affair with Izzy. Bogdanovich’s frequent collaborator, Austin Pendelton, is a wonderfully wacky, obsessed judge and client of Izzy’s, who stalks her around New York City as she prepares for the play.
Kathryn Hahn and Owen Wilson Play a Toxic, Show Business Power Couple
Kathryn Hahn and Owen Wilson are a match made in heaven as a conniving couple that burns up in flames in the most wonderful fashion in She’s Funny That Way. Hahn gives one of her most satisfying performances, as a woman awakening to the kind of dishonest man she’s married to and unleashes a fury that gives the film its purpose. Owen Wilson is antsy, anxious, and clumsy from the get, and the perfect fit for the archetype of the catastrophic leading man in an underrated screwball comedy. Arnold is the definition of toxic masculinity, and Wilson nails the characterization of a man who does not realize he is the villain in his story, not the hero.
Wilson’s shock and dismay when Izzy walks into the audition opposite his wife, Delta, drives home why Wilson’s expressive face is his moneymaker. The entire scene is a riot to watch, as Arnold prepares for a trainwreck to unfold with his mouth hanging open, while Delta becomes mesmerized by how talented Izzy is. Rhys Ifans then gobbles up the scene, as his character Seth saw Izzy leaving Arnold’s room the night before, and his smug treatment towards Arnold and sexual tension with Delta adds the perfect layer of raunchiness to an already tense scene.
Kathryn Hahn Has an Epic Meltdown Playing a Broadway Diva
The second half of She’s Funny That Way belongs to Kathryn Hahn, and she becomes a beast of vengeance when her husband’s true colors are revealed. Already a diva of the theater, she becomes a diva in real life and unleashes a delicious fury. Hahn’s career has always been a fantastic blend of comedy and drama. Here, she cranks the slapstick up to 11, with her nervous, writhing energy that has made her the relatable, all too real Hollywood star that she is. Overhearing her husband’s infidelities in a dressing room stall at the mall with him on the other side talking to a former call-girl he used to see, Hahn storms out of the dressing room and struts out of the mall only to be arrested by mall security.
No one can do a breakdown like Hahn. Her stuttering, screaming, and flailing while wearing a ridiculous suit with mascara-stained cheeks have the undeniable marks of Bogdanovich’s one-of-a-kind screwball comedy. When her co-star, Seth, seizes the moment to take advantage of her vulnerability and finally get with the woman of his dreams, Hahn yells the most important line of the movie: “Nobody has me!” In a film littered with self-righteous men who believe themselves to be knights in shining armor, Hahn’s performance and character shut them all down. She drives home the message Bogdanovich and Stratten make crystal clear in their screenplay, that men don’t know how to step away from their egos, and let women be their own saviors.
Peter Bogdanovich Directed a Callback to Classic Screwball Comedies in ‘She’s Funny That Way’
Bogdanovich directed one of the all-time great screwball classics in 1972 with What’s up Doc?, featuring Barbra Streisand as a hell-raiser, who gets into the middle of Peter O’Neal‘s relationship with his fiancé, played by a fuming Madeline Kahn. A fiasco of backstabbing and affairs, Bogdanovich captured that magic again in She’s Funny That Way. Jennifer Aniston plays completely against type, and is miles away from her American sweetheart persona with a harsh, blunt bob, sharp eyeglasses, and an angry German Shepard at her side. She even gets to throw a mean right hook at Will Forte’s chin, and is the film’s straight to a cast of crazy, colorful New Yorkers.
The craziest New Yorker in question is a fantastic, unhinged Austin Pendelton as Izzy’s stalker, Judge Pendergast. Pendelton starred in What’s Up Doc?, as a similarly awkward, lovestricken nerd who falls for Barbra Streisand’s lively character. One of She’s Funny That Way‘s best bits is when Pendergast goes on a date with Aniston’s character, Jane, to an Italian restaurant, where her boyfriend happens to be taking Izzy out to dinner. An absolute nightmare of a situation, Pendelton shatters a wine glass, falls out of his seat, and stammers all around Aniston as he only has eyes for Izzy. It’s the peak of slapstick physicality, as he flings his body out of his chair and is unafraid to fall on the floor.
Pendelton isn’t the only one of Bogdanovich’s muses to make an appearance in the film either. Cybill Shepherd, who broke out starring in his film, The Last Picture Show, plays Izzy’s flamboyant, New York tough mother. Tatum O’Neal also makes a cameo as a waiter at the Italian restaurant during the catastrophic night, who notably became the youngest actor to win an Academy Award at the time in 1973 for starring in Bogdanovich’s crime caper family drama, Paper Moon. And even Quentin Tarantino makes an appearance as himself, who has always been a fan of Bogdanovich’s.
Hahn is back under the spotlight with the new Disney+ Marvel original series, Agatha All Along. Her excellent blend of comedy and drama is once again put on display in excellent company alongside the likes of Aubrey Plaza, Patti LuPone, and Debra Jo Rupp, playing the seductive, sinister character. She’s Funny That Way is a Hahn classic before she hit the big leagues, and Bogdanovich directed her to new heights as a woman on the verge, who literally steps into the spotlight and decides to stop pleasing the men in her life. Streaming on Amazon Prime Video, She’s Funny That Way is movie magic, and a classic, modern screwball comedy stacked with Hollywood’s brightest and funniest.
She’s Funny That Way is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video in the U.S.

Jennifer Aniston: ‘I doubt that will ever happen’ on Why She Will Never Make Another Sit-Com After FRIENDS
For millions of fans around the world, Jennifer Aniston has become synonymous with the beloved character Rachel Green from the iconic sitcom FRIENDS. The role of a spoilt daddy’s girl to fashion mogul catapulted her to international stardom. The 10-season series even made her a household name and a permanent fixture in pop culture history.
But despite her success on the show, Aniston has made it clear that she has no plans to return to the sitcom format. Recently, the 45-year-old candidly explained why the days of sitcoms are behind her, and why FRIENDS will most likely be her last venture in that genre.
Why Jennifer Aniston won’t take on another sitcom
Jennifer Aniston might have found success with the NBC sitcom, FRIENDS. However, since then, she has dived into the deep end with various films and even her own show, The Morning Show. But throughout her vast career, fans have been hoping to see the 45-year-old go back to her roots in another sitcom.
In an episode of the SmartLess podcast, Aniston opened up about why her time on sitcoms will never come around again. After all, she had the best experience with David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, and Matthew Perry.
If I knew it would be the same experience as I had with those guys, yes, but I doubt that will ever happen.
Aniston explained that though there was a slim chance of another sitcom, it was rather unlikely that she would take it up. The actress even added that she missed parts of it like the filming schedule. She stated, “It’s the best schedule ever on the planet.”
The actress revealed that she had the time of her life with the show’s 5 other leads. However, she seems to have closed the door on trying to recreate the bond that was shared with the cast.
Aniston and her castmates have even described their bond with each other by saying that it would last forever and stand the test of time.
The strong bond between Jennifer Aniston and the rest of the FRIENDS cast
Jennifer Aniston has shared a special bond with her FRIENDS co-stars that has stood the test of time. During the show’s 10-year run from 1994 to 2004, Aniston, along with Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer, developed a deep camaraderie and love for one another.
Even after the show ended, the bond among the cast didn’t fade or flicker for a second. Although planning a meeting was hard due to their conflicting schedules, the 6 leads still managed to make time for each other every now and then. In an interview with People, a source opened up about just how close they all were.
They spent hours together and had the best time. It was really special to Jen. The bond this group made was very real. They still care a lot about each other and are extremely supportive.
The insider added, “Whenever anything happens to one of the others — a divorce, a graduation, a new role — they always reach out.” After all, with 10 years of working together, the FRIENDS cast seems to have created a friendship that will last a lifetime.
In fact, Aniston and the rest of the cast proved just how close they are during the hardest time of their lives, the untimely passing of Perry. With all the stars coming together to be a shoulder to lean on for each other, they proved that their love has stood the test of time.

Jennifer Aniston Wasn’t the Only One ‘Betrayed’ by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s Mr. and Mrs. Smith: ‘A total level of ignorance is evident’
In the early 2000s, Jennifer Aniston might have had her heart crushed by the budding romance between her now ex-husband Brad Pitt, and Angelina Jolie. However, the FRIENDS star was not the only one who felt betrayed when they teamed up for their first-ever project together, Mr. and Mrs. Smith. In fact, while the 55-year-old might have been hit hardest by it, the film managed to ruffle a few more feathers.
After all, the film had everyone glued to their screens but did not portray one major part of it correctly. In fact, with Jolie and Pitt’s characters meeting for the very first time in Bogotá, Columbia, there seemed to be a few things that were missing.
Apart from Jennifer Aniston, Mr. and Mrs. Smith irked an entire city
The 2005 film Mr. and Mrs. Smith, starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, sparked controversy not just for the off-screen love affair between its stars but also for its portrayal of Bogotá, Colombia. In one of the movie’s early scenes, the city is depicted as a dangerous, impoverished locale, complete with a tropical, jungle-like setting.
This inaccurate portrayal of the capital, which is actually a modern, bustling metropolis located high in the Andes mountains, left many Colombians feeling insulted and frustrated by Hollywood’s stereotypical depiction of their lives. According to reports from ABC, it was revealed that the general secretary of the Mayor’s Office, Enrique Borda had written a letter to Doug Liman and producer Arnon Milchan expressing their concerns.
With scarce hotel infrastructure, where poverty prevails, depressed, disorderly, with high levels of violence, in short, totally chaotic and not at all attractive.
Borda and the Mayor’s office were displeased with how Linman chose to portray their beautiful city. In fact, the general secretary even took it a step further and stated, “Without a doubt, a total level of ignorance is evident.” After all, the director and producer had chosen to display Bogotá in a state of disarray instead of showing it as it was.
The capital of Columbia might not have forgiven Pitt and Jolie’s film for its negative image just yet. However, it looks like Jennifer Aniston is ready to leave the past behind them.
Jennifer Aniston buries that hatchet between her and Angelina Jolie
Most women might never be able to forgive a homewrecker, but Jennifer Aniston is constantly proving that she’s the bigger person. Although the world has pitted the 55-year-old and Angelina Jolie against one another since the Brad Pitt scandal in 2005, the FRIENDS star seems to be over all the drama.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight at the 2015 Critic’s Choice Awards, Aniston had nothing but words of love and support for Jolie. In fact, the actress only praised her fellow star for her latest project that had been released, Unbroken.
I mean, that movie is so beautiful and wonderful and she did such a gorgeous job. I think that it’s time people stop with that petty B.S. and just start celebrating great work and stop with the petty kind of silliness.
Aniston continued to reflect on her feud with Jolie and admitted, “I think that’s slowly coming to an end. I really do.” After all, 10 years had passed since she and Pitt and chosen to go their own separate ways.
Now, with the 20-year mark just around the corner, the former lovebirds seem to be navigating their newfound friendship. In fact, just a few years ago, Pitt wound up giving Aniston a gift that she considered a dream come true.
With both parties of the relationship being able to move on, it might be time for fans to let go of what happened nearly 2 decades ago.

This is the curious scent that is always in Jennifer Aniston’s house, according to friend Courteney Cox
Courteney Cox says her pal and former Friends co-star, Jennifer Aniston, just cannot get enough of a scented candle made by the Cougar Town actor’s homecare brand. So much so, indeed, that Cox can always smell its fragrance when she visits Aniston.
“Jennifer is obsessed”
“Jennifer is obsessed with the Cece scent,” Cox revealed at the Inc. 5000 45th Annual Conference & Gala, according to the celebrity-gossip magazine People. “I’ve never been to her house without smelling a Cece Candle right when you walk in. And I love it.”
What is Homecourt, Cox’s homecare brand?
Cox founded Homecourt, which specializes in products such as candles, soaps, hand creams and room deodorants, in 2022. Explaining why she chose to create the brand, she says: “My home is my sanctuary. It is a home that’s filled with love and laughter, and a place where I can spend quality time with friends and family. I have taken great care to curate a space where everyone can feel ‘at home’ […].
“Someone once told me that caring for your space can be a transformative act. As a self-proclaimed neat freak, I can tell you that this is true, but I could never find products that smelled or looked as good as they worked, nor anything that truly elevated homecare to what I’ve always felt it should be: an investment in yourself and your loved ones, and a daily act of self-care.”
During her Inc. 5000 appearance, Cox added that Aniston isn‘t simply trying to butter her up by firing up a Homecourt scented candle every time her friend comes to call. If a product isn’t Aniston’s cup of tea, the 60-year-old explained, “she’s the kind of person to be like, ’No, I don’t like it.’”
How much does the Cece Candle cost?
On the Homecourt website, the Cece Candle is described as a “clean-burning, lushly fragranced candle designed to enhance the ambiance of any space in the home.” The candle’s production description adds: “hand-poured into our kiln-fired ceramic vessels. Experience 60 hours of burn time and industry-leading fragrance throw.” Homecourt’s Cece Candle retails at $65.
What does Cece fragrance smell like?
According to Homecourt, Cece is “a fine fragrance for fall,” adding: “[It] enriches the season with warm notes of cedarwood smoke, sweet cardamom, and white leather.” The brand also describes Cece as “grounded, mysterious, and addictive”.
Jennifer and Courteney’s decades-long friendship
Cox and Aniston, who starred as Monica Geller and Rachel Green, respectively, appeared together for all 10 seasons of Friends, a hit NBC sitcom that ran from 1994 to 2004.
The pair have remained close friends since working on the show. In May, Cox paid a heartfelt tribute to Aniston to mark the latter’s 55th birthday, writing on social media: “Happy Birthday my sweet Jenny Louise. Also don’t know why I call her that…but I sure do love you.”

Jennifer Aniston is a name synonymous with Hollywood success. Best known for her iconic role as Rachel Green on the beloved sitcom Friends, she has cemented her place as one of the most sought-after actresses in the industry.
Jennifer’s journey began in Sherman Oaks, California, but she was raised in the bustling streets of New York City. She made the move to Los Angeles in 1989, where she juggled part-time jobs before landing her first television roles. However, it was her decade-long stint on Friends, from 1994 to 2004, that skyrocketed her to stardom.
As one of the highest-paid TV actresses of all time, Aniston and her co-stars commanded a whopping $1 million per episode during the show’s final two seasons. This incredible salary was just a portion of her earnings, as she collected around $90 million from Friends before royalties and backend deals.
Speaking of royalties, Jennifer’s income didn’t stop with the show’s finale. As part of a smart contract negotiation in 2000, she and her fellow cast members secured backend points on Friends, allowing them to profit from syndication.
What’s Jennifer Aniston net worth?
This savvy move means they continue to earn between $10 million and $20 million annually, thanks to the show’s enduring popularity. Even years after its conclusion, Friends generates over $1 billion yearly from syndication and streaming deals, keeping the cash flowing for its stars.
Beyond television, Aniston has built a solid film career, raking in approximately $75 million from movies between 1997 and 2011 alone. Her highest film payday came with $10 million for her role in Just Go With It. Over the years, her blend of talent, charisma, and business savvy has helped her build an impressive net worth of $320 million.
But it’s not just acting that boosts her bank account-she’s also a powerhouse in endorsements. With a portfolio featuring brands like L’Oreal, Smartwater, and Aveeno, she earns around $10 million per year from endorsements alone.
When it comes to her lifestyle, Aniston has made some remarkable real estate investments. She owns multiple properties, including a stunning Bel Air mansion purchased for $20.1 million and an $11,000 monthly HOA fee Manhattan condo that offers luxurious amenities. In 2022, she even bought a $15 million Montecito farmhouse from none other than Oprah Winfrey. All in all, Jennifer Aniston is not just a talented actress; she’s a savvy businesswoman whose wealth continues to grow in leaps and bounds.

Are you ready for a fun fact? We met Monica Geller and Rachel Green 30 years ago this fall. Yep, “time flies” is an appropriate response. And so is “Welcome to the real world! It sucks. You’re gonna love it.” Want to know a fact that’s even more fun than that? Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston are still friends who rub off on each other. In this case, when CoCo went to Jen’s house, she noted that it didn’t just smell nice, it smelled Courteney nice. Jen’s been burning the Cece candle from Courteney Cox’s brand Homecourt and your house can smell Courteney nice, too.
Homecourt Cece Candle
With notes of cedarwood smoke, sweet cardamom and cinnamon, Jen’s favorite Cece, is one of the more mysterious scents from Homecourt. The long-burning soy wax has a cotton wick and comes in a reusable clay cup. The mini candle is 2.25 oz and comes in 4 different scents.
In Aniston’s Instagram post celebrating Cox’s birthday, she wrote, “She’ll redecorate a room like nobody’s business.” And that’s kind of what happens with Homecourt products. Cox started the brand in 2022 to help people “discover the beauty of home care.” The candles are a big part of that and Cox says Aniston is a big fan of one particular candle.
“Jennifer is obsessed with the Cece scent,” Cox said at the 5000 45th Annual Conference & Gala. “I’ve never been to her house without smelling a Cece candle the moment I walk in. And I love it.”

But Cox says she knows Aniston doesn’t just break out the Cece candles when she comes over and that she’s pretty direct about her preferences.
“She’s the kind of person to be like, ‘No, I don’t like it,’” she said.
Cece is not limited to candles — you can also get it in room deodorant, dish soap, hand cream and more. The candles come in two sizes: 2.25 oz. and 8 oz. There are also more scents to choose from: Cocomoi, Steeped Rose, Neroli Leaf, Cipres Mint, Mandarin Basile and Balsam Fireplace.
