In a recently unearthed clip, Fox News host Harris Faulkner reacted to the news that President Donald Trump had won a $15 million settlement in a defamation suit from ABC News and woke journalist George Stephanopoulos.
For context, the clip is still relevant because it highlights the lengths the mainstream media will go to slam the president. While this case is far from the first time Trump has been slandered in the media, it does indicate that the tables may be turning and Trump will be able to push back against woke journalists for their lies.
In any case, a prominent MAGA influencer published the clip, which was initially aired on December 15, 2024. The FNC host began her monologue by announcing the results of the case. She stated, “We have breaking news. ABC News and George Stephanopoulos have settled with President-elect Trump in his defamation lawsuit.
Adding additional context, Faulkner described the monetary damages and how the president would use his winnings. She said, “The network agrees to pay $15 million as a charitable contribution to Trump’s presidential library. ABC and Stephanopoulos will also issue statements of regret as an editor’s note to the march 2024article and television segment that prompted Trump to file the lawsuit.”
Concluding her remarks, the anchor described the origins of the suit. Faulkner explained, “Earlier this year, Trump sued Stephanopoulos after he asserted in an interview that Trump was found, quote, liable for rape in a civil case, despite the fact that a jury actually determined Trump was liable for, quote, sexual abuse, which has a distinct definition under New York law.”

Celebrating the historic verdict, conservatives left their reactions in the comments under her post.
