Speaking during a broadcast of ABC’s “The View,” show co-host Ana Navarro utterly melted down over concerns of hers about the man that Trump has chosen to be “border czar.” That would be Tom Homan, an anti-illegal immigration hardliner who is ready to start enforcing far stricter immigration policies.
Homan previously served as United States Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) acting director, so he is knowledgable about effecting border security and immigration enforcement. The left is horrified of Homan because of his tough stance on illegal immigration, making him a natural pick for Trump.
So, it was about Homan being picked as “border czar” that Navarro freaked out. She began by yelling about how much power President-Elect Trump has, saying, “Look, Donald Trump won the electoral vote. He’s got the House, the Senate for all intents and purposes, and the Supreme Court.”
Continuing, she got to the part about immigration, clutching her pearls over the idea that Trump is going to do what he promised and start deporting people who are in America legally. She said, “A lot of people thought that when he talked about mass deportations, he wasn’t being serious. I don’t know how many times he had to say it for people to realize he was being serious.”
She then ignored that anyone here illegally has committed a crime when rambling about who will be deported, saying, “When you talk about mass deportations, people think, oh, it’s just going to be the criminals. There’s not enough criminal aliens in the federal prison system for it to be mass deportations.”
Navarro went on to fret about the same subject and note that all manner of illegal immigrants will be deported. She said, “What it means is grandmothers, what it means is brothers and aunts, what it means is abuelos y abuelas, it means dreamers, it means your family members, it means your colleagues.”
She added that America is going to get what it voted for, in her opinion, something that most conservatives and Trump voters would cheer because it would be one of the first times in a long time in which they weren’t betrayed by a political figure. She said, “Look, America, you know, those of you who voted for Trump, this is what you wanted, this is what you voted for.” Watch her here:President-Elect Trump, announcing on his Truth Social platform that Homan will be Border Czar, said, “I am pleased to announce that the Former ICE Director, and stalwart on Border Control, Tom Homan, will be joining the Trump Administration, in charge of our Nation’s Borders (“The Border Czar”), including, but not limited to, the Southern Border, the Northern Border, all Maritime, and Aviation Security.”
Continuing, he said, “I’ve known Tom for a long time, and there is nobody better at policing and controlling our Borders. Likewise, Tom Homan will be in charge of all Deportation of Illegal Aliens back to their Country of Origin. Congratulations to Tom. I have no doubt he will do a fantastic, and long awaited for, job.”
