It’s a “Love Story” for the second year in a row. All-star tight end Travis Kelce is seeking his third straight Super Bowl title this Sunday (Feb. 9.) Taylor Swift will head to the Big Easy to cheer on her man as his Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles at Caesars Superdome. That means the “Blank Space” star will have a front-row seat to the highly-anticipated halftime set. As Taylor Swift previously collaborated with Kendrick Lamar on her 2015 hit “Bad Blood,” Swifties are currently setting the internet ablaze with speculation about whether she will make a cameo during Lamar’s performance.

Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift Collaborated on “Bad Blood”
Taylor Swift first expressed her admiration for Kendrick Lamar back in 2014, when she went viral for a video of herself rapping along to Lamar’s 2012 hit “Backseat Freestyle.” Showing a mutual respect, Lamar hopped on the remix of Swift’s 1989 single “Bad Blood.” The “Not Like Us” hitmaker provided additional lyrics for the track’s 2023 re-release.

Still riding a high from last week’s GRAMMY Awards sweep, Lamar will bring “the L.A. energy” to New Orleans during his buzzworthy halftime set. The 37-year-old rapper has already confirmed that “All the Stars” collaborator SZA will join him onstage. However, if you’ve watched the Super Bowl Halftime Show in recent years, you know the headliners usually have more than one surprise guest up their sleeves. And many believe Kendrick Lamar will bring out Taylor Swift for a rendition of “Bad Blood.”

“Imagine you’re watching the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show,” one fan wrote on X/Twitter. “Kendrick Lamar is performing. Taylor Swift leaves the suite where she is watching. Bad Blood (Taylor’s Version) starts playing … Kendrick and Taylor perform together.”

So, Will It Happen?
Sorry, Swifties—Patrick Mahomes doesn’t think so. “As long as Trav’s playing and we’re in the Super Bowl, it’s going to be hard for her to do the halftime show,” the Kansas City quarterback said on Tuesday. “So hopefully Trav keeps playing and we keep making it to the Super Bowl.”

While there’s no doubt that Taylor Swift will attend the game, the likelihood of her joining Kendrick Lamar onstage seems fairly low. Still, anything could happen.
