Travis Kelce has said that he and Taylor Swift will not be going to the Grammys together. He has a good reason for why.

The NFL player Kelce told Pat McAfee that he really wanted to go to the Grammys but couldn’t because he had to practice before going to Las Vegas to get ready for the Super Bowl.
This news isn’t really a surprise after a video of Taylor Swift celebrating with Travis Kelce’s family went viral. Swift’s close friend Keleigh Teller, who is married to star Miles Teller, shared the video.
The video that got almost 2 million views in just two hours shows Swift giving Travis’s sister-in-law Kylie a hug and high-fiving his brother Jason at the same time. Check this out:

Since Travis Kelce and the Chiefs were going to the Super Bowl, reports quickly spread that Taylor Swift might do something special at the game.
Everyone knows that Taylor Swift will have to fly straight from Tokyo to Las Vegas to get to the game on time. In just a few days, she will start the second part of her The Eras Tour. But her camp is quickly putting an end to reports that she will have a special show at the Super Bowl.
TMZ says that Taylor Swift will not be performing at the Super Bowl. Instead, she will just be there as a fan. Keep your attention on the Chiefs, the 49ers, and Usher, who is going to put on a Halftime Show to remember!
They hugged, kissed, and looked at each other lovingly many times as the Chiefs celebrated their win.
One of the few times Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were seen together in public was after the AFC Championship, on the field. Check this out:

This public display of affection all took place following an Fox News interview with Tony Dungy where he made an interesting choice to talk about Taylor Swift.
Let’s be honest, Taylor Swift has done nothing but go to football games to watch her boyfriend play and subsequently got an entire group of people who never cared about the NFL to suddenly care.
But for some reason, the Dads, Chads, and Brads can’t seem to stop talking about her in a way that suggests she’s had a negative effect on the league. Let’s be honest, she hasn’t, but that’s the narrative Tony Dungy decided to push.
According to Dungy, the “Taylor Swift” effect distracts from “on-field action” and claims it is affecting the NFL. “That’s the thing that’s disenchanting people with sports now. There’s so much on the outside coming in. Entertainment value and different things taking away from what really happens on the field.”
Or it’s simply making the sport even bigger and more popular? But to each their own.
Which side of the argument are you on?
This interview comes just a month after Travis Kelce responded to those who booed Taylor Swift at the Chiefs game against the Patriots.
On December 17, Swift attended Kelce’s game against the Patriots at Gillette Stadium alongside her dad Scott. During the pregame, Gillette showed Swift on the Jumbotron taking notice of her attendance.
Several reports revealed that Swift was met with several boos but Kelce said that’s not entirely accurate. While talking with his brother, Jason, about that specific moment, Travis admitted he had to try “to keep my cool.”
“They showed Taylor at the game, and I mean you don’t see an entire home team fan base go insane for somebody wearing the opposite team’s colors. […] It just shows you how amazing that girl is. They went absolutely insane when they showed Taylor on the screen.”
“I was trying to keep my cool,” Travis admitted with a laugh. “I was like, ‘Don’t show your cards, don’t show your cards.’ It was fun, man. Shout out to the Patriots, New England. Taylor, she’s on record saying that that stadium is one of the funnest that she’s played at, so for them to show her is just kind of showing her some love. So shout out to the Patriots for doing that.”
And as for the reported booing, Travis said there “might have been a few Brads and Chads that were booing, [but] for the most part everybody was f***ing screaming their tail off for her.”
Taylor Swift is the gift that keeps on giving, literally. After providing her tour crew with 100,000 dollar bonuses, Swift was caught again handing out hefty tips, this time to those who were working her suite at the Chiefs vs. Patriots game on Sunday.
The photo of her tipping with $100 bills in her hands went viral on Twitter. Take a look:
@jessicagolich #greenscreen It isn’t even about the money, she’s just a SOLID human! 🫶❤️💯 #swiftok #chiefsvspatriots #taylorswiftchiefsvspatriots #taylorswiftchiefsgame #brittanymahomestaylorswift #taylorswiftgillette #nfltaylorsversion #swifties
As the TikToker who originally shared the photo said, “it isn’t even about the money, it’s just that she’s also showing in many different ways that she’s a solid human being.”
People were also impressed that it was Taylor herself handing out the tips. “The fact that’s SHE HERSELF is passing them out and not one of her staff is crazy to me. She’s amazing,” one commenter wrote. “I don’t think she wanted any attention for this, just wanted to do something good for others. I have a feeling she does this often.”
This is the same game that Travis Kelce was spotted glancing at a picture of Taylor Swift playing Gillette Stadium during one of her tours before walking onto the field for warmups.
@nfl
“I love how proud they are of each other,” one commenter wrote.
And Taylor Swift’s dad was also scene sharing Taylor’s birthday cake with people in a neighboring suite.
