Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, has shared some heartbreaking news.
According to two Instagram Stories she posted early this morning, the 24-year-old has suffered a stroke. Alongside photos of her hospital room and herself in the hospital bed.
“I had a severe stroke this am,” Cori initially wrote. “I started breaking down crying when they told me.”
And while an explanation for why she was so scared is unnecessary, Cori added a second slide, showing a photo of herself lying in a hospital bed.
“Like I’m only 24,” she wrote. “What did I do in my past to deserve all of this.”
Sadly this is far from Snoop Dogg’s daughter’s first health issue.
As TMZ reports when Cori was 6 years old she was diagnosed with Lupus. In an exclusive interview with People in September, Cori revealed that while it’s been a long health journey she has “been good, better than I’ve ever been.”
She revealed the turning point for her was taking a more “holistic” approach to her health after her 2021 suicide attempt. “I stopped taking all of my medication like five months ago. I’m just doing everything natural, all types of herbs, sea moss, teas.
She continued, telling People, “I started working out, drinking lots of water. So now I think my body’s like, okay, this is the new program and she’s getting used to it.”
Her decision to make a change came after she spent most of her life taking so many different medications every day after she was diagnosed with lupus.
“I’ve had medication since I was 6 years old, depending on these drugs all my life. So I wanted better for myself. I wanted to change because it just became a lot. I’m only 24 years old, taking 10 to 12 pills every single day. So I kind of just went cold Turkey.”
It’s unclear if her lifestyle change is the result of what she is dealing with today.
