It began like any other day… till I looked up and saw something odd protruding from the corner of my ceiling. Thin, textured, and strangely snake-like, it quickly raised red flags in my mind. Could it be merely an ancient wire? Part of a concealed fixture? Or—dreadfully—something living?
Curiosity soon gave way to worry, which marked the start of the actual inquiry…
