We occasionally travel unexpected paths in life. Even though Frank Fritz was a popular television personality, he was going through a lot personally.
This is his heartbreaking tale.
Frank Fritz had a long-term partner named Diann Bankson. His tumultuous divorce resulted in health hazards, unemployment, and alcoholism. Their time together made a lasting impression on them, despite the fact that they are no longer together.
When “American Pickers” presenter Frank Fritz first met Diann Bankson, he was 25 years old. Before being engaged in 2017, the couple had sporadic relationships. They purchased a farmhouse in Iowa in 2018 and moved in together the following year.
When Bankson allegedly “walked in” on Fritz and “found him in bed with another woman” in November of that year, their relationship soured.
In an interview, Fritz disclosed that Bankson had deceived him, and he had even acquired a tattoo to serve as a reminder. He said, however, that he still desired to wed her.
After finding out that his fiancée had been seeing someone else for the past two and a half years, Fritz declared, “I was going to get married, I bought a house and a large expensive ring.”
As a warning to avoid making “the same mistake twice,” Fritz said, “I got a tattoo that reads, ‘Once a cheater, always a cheater.’ She is the one who is cheating.” He continued by saying that Bankson had “cost” him a significant amount of money.
In an attempt to mend his broken heart, he started drinking. That’s how I handled my breakup, he said. This caused him to lose a significant amount of weight. “I tried my hardest,” Fritz acknowledged. I tried using alcohol to drown her.
He made the decision to postpone dating for a while while he focused on stopping drinking because his prior relationship with Bankson had “stung badly enough.”
After the divorce, he had losses at work as well. The Sun claims that after March 2020, he will no longer be hosting “American Pickers” on the History Channel.
By the time he was 13, Christopher Reeve’s son had lost both of his parents.
At Loretta Lynn’s campground, a teenager falls on a 7-year-old girl’s back from 30 feet above the ground, paralyzing her.
Tim Curry is still performing at the age of 76; his family chose not to disclose his stroke to the public.
Fritz stated that health concerns were the reason for his absence and that he planned to return to the show after his back surgery was over. Fritz said he wanted to see the show again. Now that I am completely recovered, I am prepared to resume the program.
Fritz asserted that the program had not decided whether or not he would return. However, he claimed that a showrunner had gotten in touch with him and assured him that he would return.
According to TMZ, Fritz has been a part of the show for ten years, but there are “no plans” for him to host again.
His ex-lover Bankson disclosed her new partner, Eric Longlett, an engineering administration manager, and declined to return to his show. She raved about how fortunate she was to be with him in a social media post about him.
She posted a picture of herself and Longlett at the event with the comment, “He took me to witness Elton John’s Yellow Brick Road Farewell Tour.” I’m quite fortunate. Babe Oxo, I love you so much.
Fritz had a stroke and was sent to the hospital on July 4, 2022. A buddy found him on the floor of his home and called for assistance. The US Sun was able to retrieve the 911 call in which his companion said, “I’m not sure, but he might be having a seizure.”
Reporters were informed by Fritz’s father, Bill Fritz, that his son was doing well and getting better every day.
His recovery, however, did not proceed as smoothly as the physicians had hoped. After leaving the hospital, he was placed under guardianship and taken to a nursing facility.
Rumor has it that on August 18, 2022, his “longtime friend” asked for and was granted an emergency appointment for temporary guardianship and conservatorship on his behalf.
The bank was designated as his conservator and charged with overseeing his funds, while his acquaintance was named his guardian.
All payments to his care facility, including daily expenses, health insurance, maintenance, and property taxes, would fall within the bank’s purview as his conservator. For activities and doctor’s appointments, he would need suitable transportation, which the bank would have to provide.
In order to be his guardian, his friend had to create a “initial care plan” for him, and he has been involved “in decision-making since the stroke.”
In order to do this, his guardian must decide on his living arrangements, residence, health, and medical requirements; promote involvement in any activities; and keep in touch with family members and any romantic partners. He would also have to submit an annual report as his guardian.
His condition was worsening and he was unable to make decisions for himself, “without which physical injury or sickness may result,” according to his documentation.
According to documents, he was unable to “make, communicate, or carry out important decisions about his own financial affairs” and was in much worse health than previously believed.
Until he is well enough to “get treatment for his injuries” and capable of doing so, his guardian must make decisions on his behalf.
The court concluded that Fritz needs a guardian to ensure his future health. “Appointment of a guardian and conservator is required to prevent him from suffering immediate harm,” the court decided.
