The injuries suffered by Princess Anne may be more serious than Buckingham Palace is letting on, according to royal expert Michael Cole.
As per reports, Cole told Metro that the Palace might be downplaying the Princess Royal’s injuries after she was taken to hospital on Sunday, June 23.
We reported yesterday how 73-year-old Princess Anne suffered injuries to her head and a concussion after an incident involving a horse at her Gatcombe Park estate.
“The Princess Royal has sustained minor injuries and concussion following an incident on the Gatcombe Park estate yesterday evening,” read a statement from Buckingham Palace on Monday.
“Her Royal Highness remains in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, as a precautionary measure for observation and is expected to make a full and swift recovery.”
The Independent now claim that the injuries came as a result of the princess being kicked by a horse, while royal expert Michael Cole suggested that the Palace might not be revealing the full extent of the situation to the public.
It’s said that the princess, sister to King Charles, will miss several scheduled engagements this week, including a state banquet to mark the planned Japanese state visit, as well a trip to Canada.
Here’s to wishing Princess Anne a swift recovery! We hope things aren’t worse than the Palace are letting on. What do you think?
