Garth Brooks’ bar and songs are being boycotted following a provocative statement he made.

Garth Brooks is a well-known country music artist. Now, the musician has done something that has fans doubting their loyalty to him.

Please keep reading to find out what Garth Brooks did to upset his fans.

Many country music lovers were shocked by singer Garth Brooks’s shocking revelation. The artist has collaborated with Bud Light on his latest project. The musician has chosen to offer the beer at his Nashville restaurant.

The performer explained his decision by declaring that his bar would be a haven of togetherness and inclusion, with “every brand of beer” available. He even went so far as to term people who consume beer other than Bud Light “a**holes.”

People are now furious with the artist for making this remark. Michelle, who has been a fan of the musician since the 1990s, is offended by his latest words. She concluded her tweet with the words, “Welcome to the boycott.”

Other fans were outraged and said they would boycott his bar and music. One user tweeted, “My trash bin is filled…I got rid of everything with Garth Brooks’ name on it.”

Brooks attempted to justify his action by stating that he valued diversity and wanted to support it. “I love variety. Everyone is included, so everyone is welcome,” he said.

Bud Light’s controversy began in April of this year. The beer company sent some cans to transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. The influencer then filmed videos where she dressed up as Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany’s and explained the beers and how people might win money through the company’s sweepstakes.

People were upset with the beer company’s collaboration and found it sad that they platformed a trans influencer. Travis Tritt, a country musician, claimed that he would drop Anheuser-Busch (the parent company of Budweiser) from his tour because they decided to send some alcohol to a trans influencer.

Months later, the debate over Bud Light is still raging. What are your feelings about the situation and Garth Brook’s decision? Tell us in the comments section.
