As the Bride Signed the Marriage Certificate, Something Moved Under Her Dress…

There were a lot of eager murmurings coming from the wedding hall.

A tranquil light poured in through the large windows that were illuminated by the sun; the seats that were gilded were filled by relatives and friends who were dressed in an attractive manner.

The crowd muttered gently, and several of the guests lifted their phones in an attempt to catch the moment with their cameras.

There was a palpable expectancy that permeated the whole room, and the air was filled with a happy enthusiasm.

Sara, the bride, was standing next to Gabriele, the groom, and she was making sure to grip his hand securely.

Her white dress, which was designed in the manner of a mermaid, was draped softly over her slim figure, and her long veil was flowing over the floor. She looked absolutely stunning.

Despite the fact that she was beaming with joy, there was a trace of concern that seemed to be flickering in the corner of her eyes.

The words “It’s going to be okay” were uttered by Gabriele as she softly squeezed her fingers together.

Sara gave a little nod, but before she could respond…

…something was moving.

Certainly not from behind her in any way. Not near it at all. It is just underneath it.

A little movement that was so subtle that it was almost impossible to detect, as if something or someone were hiding in the folds of the cloth below it.

Taking a half step back, Sara began her conversation. Almost immediately, Gabriele became aware of the tension that was there in the bride’s arms and scowled.

“What is the matter? What is the matter?

However, before Sara could respond, the movement moved forward, this time with a greater degree of power.

A tiny movement occurred at the bottom of the garment, giving the impression that something was concealed underneath it… while attempting to get freedom.

All of the attendees were completely taken aback.

Adele, one of the bridesmaids, showed her astonishment by bringing her palm to her lips and raising it. An old aunt named Margarita murmured something to the heavens while crossing her arms and crossing her legs.

There was a sense of tension in the air, as if a vacuum had developed all of a sudden.

Gabriele became pallid.

Sara stayed still and terrified, a shudder going down her spine. She was really afraid.

Then, after that…

It was only a whisper.

The sound was so faint that it was unmistakable; there was no question that something was there, directly under the robe.

In a frightened whisper, one of the witnesses, Tomás, looked around and said, “Are you kidding?”

But nobody laughed at it.

As if they were in the middle of a pivotal scene in a movie, everyone held their breath.

Then, after that…

Suddenly and resolutely, the dress swayed back and forth!

Suddenly, Sara let out a scream, retreated a few steps, and raised her dress.

Gabriele tightened her hands, while the register clerk, a beautiful lady called Judit, stayed motionless while holding the stamp. The room descended into a collective hiss as the room exploded in a collective hiss.

A dark shadow could be seen emerging from under the garment, as if it were coming from a hidden passageway, and then a hiss could be heard…

…a little ball of black material sprang out.

Someone let out a scream, and another person reacted by jumping back, causing a glass of champagne to drop. Upon the damask tablecloth, the liquid was found to have spilled.

When Sara reached Gabriele, she sprang to him and clung to him hard.

Ah, aaaah! “What exactly is it?”

The small bundle stumbled its way through a few hops until it reached the center of the room, at which point it came to a rest.

It then proceeded to wag its tail.

She meowed.

There is no sound.

Gabriele showed a blink. Sara, who was terrified and had her gaze fixed on the face of the visitor, was unable to believe what she was witnessing.

There, on the ground, in front of each and every person…

…a little black kitten watched them with a puzzled expression on its face.

“Could it be a cat?” From behind, someone spoke out while they were still in shock.

When Gabriele gazed at Sara, she was taken aback:

“Why is there a cat hiding hidden under your skirt?”

Sara opened her lips to respond, but she was unable to do so.

A terrified voice then broke out from the first row of visitors, and it was as follows:

“Uh… maybe it’s mine…”

Turning around, everyone did so.

Lucia, Sara’s younger sister, was standing there, holding a plush rabbit and wearing white stockings. She was proud of her accomplishment. At the same time that her eyes were filled with regret, she said in a cautious manner:

Because I didn’t want to leave him at home by himself… He leapt into the basket housing the veil… It seemed to me that he had already departed.”

Initially, the visitors gazed at her with astonishment, and then they immediately broke out laughing. Suddenly, the tension dissipated like a bubble of soap.

Gabriele let out a sigh. A little tremor ran through Sara’s body as she knelt down and carefully scooped up the cat.

The little black cat let out another meow, and then proceeded to burrow into her palm as if nothing had occurred after that.

“Here you are, little furry witness,” Sara eventually giggled as she stroked the kitten’s head. “Here you are.”

With a grin on her face, the worker Judith shook her head and said:

“I really hope that there won’t be any opposition to the marriage in the future?”

Once again, laughter erupted around the room.

Gabriele and Sara exchanged glances with one another before ultimately making each other chuckle.

Sara persisted in holding the little black cat, which curled up as if it never wanted to leave her, even after the laughing had ceased.

Gabriele added, “You know, if we start like this, maybe this wedding won’t be so boring.” She said this while softly petting the small animal.

When I say… ‘Cat-like’ in an unexpected way,'” Sara said with a playful giggle.

Lucia, the younger sister, approached the visitors with trepidation while still clutching her plush rabbit. The guests had already gathered around them.

She spoke the words with reluctance, “I’m sorry…” while gazing at Sara with her large blue eyes. “I didn’t intend for anything negative to take place…”

As she continued to cradle the cat on her lap, Sara knelt down next to her fellow employee.

Please don’t worry, Lucia. In the event that you want to bring a secret animal to my wedding, please just let me know the next time, all right?

“Alright—” After giving a little nod, Lucía said in a quiet voice. It was a source of concern for Bogi that she would be left alone at home.

It’s Bogi, right? Inquiring with a raised eyebrow, Gabriele questioned.

Yes, it is the cat. There have been two weeks since he joined us. It was in front of the school when I discovered him.

And why did you choose not to inform anybody else? While she was rubbing Bogi’s head, Sara inquired.

“Just because Mom told us that we can’t keep him… I, on the other hand, fed him in secret and placed him in my basket. Today, he remained hidden behind the curtain.

A smile appeared on the face of the employee as she cleared her throat and said, “So, if it’s not too much trouble, would you mind if we continued with the ceremony?” Aside from that, is there anybody else who would want to emerge from under the bride’s skirt?

Again, the guests laughed out loud.

After gently handing Bogi over to Lucia, Sara went back to Gabriele, but before she had the opportunity to take his hand, she whispered:

“After such a long and difficult beginning, do you really want to get married?”

With a grin and a nod, Gabriele said:

It is possible for me to withstand anything if I was able to survive a cat attack at the wedding. Continuing on with the wedding.”

The ceremony went on as planned. During the ceremony, the waitress recited the vows, the bride and groom gazed into each other’s eyes, and when they finally said “I do,” the crowd erupted in a roaring round of applause.

In a joyful gesture, Lucia waved her teddy rabbit while she was holding the cat.

A sly grin appeared on the waitress’ face as she approached the bride and groom, gave them the registration for them to sign, and then smiled again.

As a witness, I really hope that we won’t have to summon a representative from the animal protection organization.

After sharing a hilarious moment together, Sara and Gabriele proceeded to sign the legal forms.

Following the conclusion of the ceremony, the guests made their way to the garden, where they were greeted with sweets and champagne. In the meanwhile, the videographer was already making preparations to edit the footage so that it could be uploaded on the internet under the category of “funniest wedding moments.” Everyone was talking about the event with the cat.

The following is what Adele, one of the bridesmaids, said to Sara:

“Hey, I believe that the cat brought good fortune. It was the wedding that I will remember for the rest of my life!

With a smile on her face, Sara said to Gabriele, “It’s just begun.” Who can say for sure what is ahead for us?

In the latter hours, after the conclusion of the meal, Gabriele was approached by Lucía, who was dancing.

Gabriele, your uncle… Are we able to retain Bogi?

As Gabriele approached her, she leaned very close and gazed into her eyes.

It is only if I am able to engage in some kind of play with him on occasion.

“That’s alright, then!” He was embraced by Lucía, who shouted.

This is how the small black cat transformed into not just an unexpected visitor but also the newest member of the family’s circle of friends. It was always followed by laughing when the story of the wedding was repeated at family gatherings throughout the years, and it became a legendary tale.

What about the photographs? However, the cover of the wedding book did not include a kiss; rather, it featured a memorable moment: Sara was shown holding the small black cat, and the caption read:

Because there is always a little bit of a surprise hiding behind every successful wedding.
