Chris was living happily with his family at his home in Australia. He had two daughters with his wife. As they were happy, people started to tell Chris that his younger daughter doesn’t look like him, which started to annoy him.
As people making annoying comments, his daughter had said something about her “other father,” too. Then Chris said, “I am your dad. There is no other dad.”
His daughter had stated that she had an other father that was visiting when Chris wasn’t around. He couldn’t understand that his daughter was lying or not, but it was a disturbing thought.
He decided to take a DNA test, as he started to wonder that if people and his daughter was right or not.
And then he remembered that his wife had some strange activity on the past. He got a DNA test kit, and without noticing his wife, took the test with his daughter.
And on the results, he saw that he was not the father of his younger daughter. “You think you are prepared. You think, ‘Oh, what if the results are negative?’ And, of course, you realize there could be that possibility. But when that letter [test results] comes, it just blows you away.”
He had felt so much pain, when he learnt that his wife had cheated on him.
“She [Chris’s younger daughter] was told I’m not her dad. And she was never to call me dad ever again.”
“I was set up to believe that she was my child.” Chris said, as he explained that his wife stayed away from him for almost a year, and on one night, suddenly they were intimate again.
As they separated, Chris is now living with his older daughter, and his wife is living with her younger daughter.
As he had paid for child support in the beginning, later he thought that she is not from him, so he stopped paying.
