Robert Irwin gets bitten in the face by same species snake which attacked late dad Steve Irwin – scary resemblance

Bindi and Robert Irwin, the children of the late Steve Irwin, both continue their father’s legacy.

Like their father, they are equally committed to protecting Australia’s biodiversity and its varied species.

But there are more parallels than that… When his father once had a similar encounter, young Robert Irwin captured it on camera.

In addition to sharing his late father’s appearance, Robert Irwin has also adopted many of his traits, including his work choice. The late wildlife warrior recently shared another eerily connection between the two guys on Instagram, which he could have done without.

Young Robert Irwin uploaded an old footage of his late father’s face being bit by a python snake on Thursday. The teenage snake handler subsequently posted a video of himself handling the same snake and suffering multiple bites on his nose and eyebrow.

“Déjà vu. Dad and me getting bitten by the same species of snake (carpet python) decades apart,” Robert wrote in the caption for the video. “I found this python on the side of a road, but as you can see, sometimes snake rescues don’t quite go to plan 😂”

Both men, who are animal lovers, bravely accepted the bites. Robert handled the rescue with the same composure Steve did before attending to his wounds. “I got a little too close, so he gave me a bite. They’ve got extremely sharp teeth like little needles.”. Here is a link to the video.

The late Steve Irwin’s wife, Terri Irwin, and his two children, Robert and Bindi Irwin, are carrying on his legacy and work with wildlife conservation at the Australia Zoo.

Steve Irwin died in 2006 at the age of 44 years old. He was stung by a stingray while filming at the Great Barrier Reef. At the time of his father’s death, Robert Irwin was only 2 years old.

In September last year, Robert remembered his dad on what was the anniversary of his father’s death as well as Father’s Day in Australia. He made a post and wrote, “It’s Father’s Day today in Australia, and I am sending my love to those who are missing their dad today. I cherish all the good times with my dad and feel grateful to be able to keep his memory and legacy alive ❤️.”

Robert Irwin has grown up to be a wonderful man much like his late father. Steve would have been proud of his boy today for the work he is doing to keep his memory alive. Share this piece with other fans of Steve Irwin and his family to put a smile on their face.
