When Karoline Leavitt posts cute pictures of herself with her husband and newborn son, fans are sidetracked by other things going on in the background.
There are new pictures of Karoline Leavitt’s husband and baby boy at work after a surprise visit from her husband.
The White House press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, just gave her fans a unique look into her personal life.
Karoline Leavitt, the youngest press secretary in history, shared cute pictures of her family visiting her at work. But what really caught people’s attention was something in the background.
In a sweet post on Tuesday, Leavitt shared pictures of her husband Nicholas Riccio and their eight-month-old son Niko’s trip to the White House.
Leavitt smiled as she held her baby and posed with Riccio, who was wearing a traditional navy-striped suit. Leavitt was wearing the same baby blue suit she had worn to the press meeting that day.
“Visiting mom at work” was all that was written under the Instagram slideshow. In another picture she shared to her Instagram Story, Leavitt was holding Niko in front of a desk and mirror. Niko’s reflection added to the cuteness of the picture.
She wrote “My sweet sweet boy” in the Story.
In the comments section, fans were very nice to the young family, but many were quick to point out two interesting things that were on the corkboard in the background of one of the shots.
More in-depth look at the background
Fans noticed that behind Leavitt and her baby in the Instagram Story picture, there were two framed New York Post covers pinned to a bulletin board. They also saw two inspirational notes that were written by hand and looked like they were on White House stationery.
It said on one note:
“You have courage and strength!”
The other gave me a confidence boost with a laugh:
“Make the most of the briefing day!”
Fans liked the positive words, and many liked getting a behind-the-scenes look into the press secretary’s office. The source of the notes is still unknown.
Another small but cute thing that went popular online was that baby Niko was only wearing one sock in the picture of the family outside the White House.
Fans thought the lost sock moment was cute and something that parents everywhere could relate to, which made people laugh at the picture.
A Look at Leavitt’s Personal Life from the Inside
Lesavitt shared pictures from her wedding to 32-year-old real estate businessman Riccio in January 2025, which was followed by this family moment a few weeks later.
Leavitt kept their connection quiet at first, but she’s been talking about it more lately. In a recent podcast, she said that their relationship was “atypical,” but she made it clear that they met through shared friends and hit it off right away.
Their son Niko was born on July 10, 2024, not long before Leavitt was named press secretary for President Trump. They said yes to marriage in December 2023.
