When his mother advised him to call 911 if he needed assistance, he took her advice very seriously. A young child is currently receiving recognition for his spirited attempts at problem-solving.
A four-year-old kid asked an emergency dispatcher for help with a perplexing issue after learning from his mother to dial 911 in an emergency. It left him at a loss.
Johnny, a four-year-old boy, called 911 years ago in a desperate attempt to get help.
“Yeah, I need some help,” Johnny stated swiftly and firmly when the dispatcher answered the phone.
“What’s wrong?” inquired the worried operator.
“With my calculations,” the boy answered.

When dispatch inquired about Johnny’s residence, thinking he was requesting assistance with his “mouth,” Johnny firmly said, “No with my math.” I must do it. Will you assist me?
The operator politely inquired about his residence, but Johnny persisted on carrying on their phone conversation.
The nice man on the other end, still feeling anxious and wishing to send an officer to his location, replied, “No, I can’t do that, but I can send someone else to help you.”
The kid was convincing.

“What kind of math do you have that you need help with?” he inquired, sympathetic to the boy’s struggles with numbers.
The operator realized that Johnny was referring to subtractions when he explained that he had “take aways.”
“What is 16 take away 8?” Johnny pleaded for assistance.
Instead of giving him the answer, the operator said, “How much do you think it is?” to entice him to make a wild guess.
Upon hearing Johnny’s “1,” dispatch realized he was quite young and inquired about his age. The operator began to comply after learning that Johnny was “only four.”
What’s the other issue? That was a difficult one,” he remarked, his kind demeanor stoking his young caller’s excitement.
In the background, Johnny’s mother can be heard shouting, “Johnny, what are you doing?” as the two were working on “five take away five.”
The bold four-year-old replied, “The policeman is helping me with my math,” and then he told his mother, “You said to call someone if I need help!”
Johnny learnt that 911 is just for actual emergencies and not for math help, and the operator reassured his mother that everything was fine.
The recording continues to make cyber followers giggle, who find his take on his mother’s instructions to be endearing.
“You told me to call somebody if I need help,” one reader remarked. “The police weren’t what I meant.” The video’s best phrase, lol, is “A 4-year-old used logic against his mom.” “Legend says the boy is still searching for someone to help him in his math,” another person wrote.
“Imagine having a call like this at such a stressful job,” commented another person. The dude must have been in a more enlightened mood! The child is really adorable.
Unexpected or strange phone calls to 911 abound, ranging from parents resolving unruly kids to complaints about terrible haircuts or even UFO sightings.
A man in Jacksonville, Florida, called 911 twice, first to protest that his sandwich was missing its special sauce and then to complain that the cops weren’t reacting quickly enough, according to Reader’s Digest, which compiles a list of ridiculously humorous 911 calls.
When he saw an unknown object—which turned out to be the moon—lighting up the sky, a British guy in a panic called 911. Then, a man in Romania became terrified after hearing loud noises coming from within his house. Police discovered the man by himself with his boisterous and unruly pet cat.
Of course, there are also calls from kids, who at a young age define emergencies as anything that interferes with their delight.
A 10-year-old boy from Massachusetts wanted police to take away his mother because she insisted it was nighttime, while a seven-year-old girl from Wisconsin spied on her grandfather, who was cheating during a game of cards.
