Tony Richman, a talented filmmaker, followed in 1981. They have two children, allowing Jaclyn to focus on family. The marriage ended in 1989.
She never claimed her heart until 1997, when destiny brought her Dr. Brad Allen.

A twist of fate brought them together. Jaclyn’s mother urged she visit Dr. Allen after his lifesaving surgery on her father. His sweet gesture of walking her to her car ignited their relationship.
Allen was special to Jaclyn because of his ‘purity of heart.’ For 27 years, they have been blissfully married.
Motherhood has always been Jaclyn’s favorite role, and now she enjoys grandmotherhood. But choosing the appropriate spouse was as important to her.
Allen loved Jaclyn’s children. In 2002, Jaclyn was diagnosed with breast cancer, throwing the family a curveball.
Thanks to regular checkups, early detection was possible. The findings shook her, but her loving family comforted her.
Jaclyn contacted her family after her initial shock. They stood by her in Los Angeles at this difficult period, giving her strength.
Jaclyn valiantly faced her cancer journey with her family after a lumpectomy and eight weeks of radiotherapy.
