After 10 years on an Australian home’s roof, a large snake tried to go to the master bedroom.
Mission Beach, Queensland, resident Trina Hibberd woke up on Monday to find Monty, a 5.2m scrub python, stretching from her living room to her bedroom

Monty turned on a light and knocked down a lamp before snake-catcher Dave Goodwin arrived.
Mr. Goodwin made the snake coil around his forearm before trapping it in a plastic home-brewing jug.
He told the BBC the 40kg snake was “choking [his] arm to death” before transferring it to the tub.
He continued, “When you go near them they have this real deep gurgle in their throat, which means don’t come near me.”
Mr. Goodwin used tongs to grab the snake around the head to get it to grab his arm.
