Andra Day’s performance of the “Black national anthem” at the Super Bowl sparks a huge debate on the internet.

There were mixed feelings among Super Bowl fans about whether Reba’s performance of the national anthem was the best ever or could have used some work. On the other hand, many people on the internet agreed with what they said about Andra Day’s performance of “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” which is also known as the Black national song.

It’s the fourth time that the Black national song has been played before the Super Bowl.

Even though it was written in 1900, the song perfectly captures “the solemn yet hopeful appeal for the liberty of Black Americans.”

The NAACP made “Lift Every Voice and Sing” their anthem. It was “highly used as a rallying cry during the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s and 1960s.”

There were a lot of comments on the internet about Day’s performance in the days before it happened, but they were nothing compared to the comments that were made after she sang.

This is what Republican Rep. Mike Loychik wrote on X: “There’s no such thing as a black national anthem.” “Our great and beautiful Star Spangled Banner brings us all together as America.” The Super Bowl is meant to bring people together.I think it’s shameful that the NFL chose to stir up racial tensions again.

“The ‘Black National Anthem’ doesn’t fit at the Super Bowl. There is already a National Anthem, and EVERYONE sings in it. Kelly sent out a tweet.

“As a child, I wasn’t told that the National Anthem was for black or white people. We learned that it was for all Americans. There is no intention for a black national anthem to give black Americans a say. Instead, it is meant to make things more divided. No matter what race you are, we are all American, and it’s time to act like it,” someone else wrote.

Some people even said that the crowd didn’t seem very excited.

Maybe it was just me, but I thought Andra Day did a great job.
